Many of us are still trying to master SharePoint 2007 (version 12) but that does not mean we don’t want to know what SharePoint 2010 (version 14) will bring.
I have a feeling the next version might be called SharePoint 2010, primarily because of the image on the right
. Regardless of the name of SharePoint 14, what’s more important to customers, consultants and users is what features are going to be added, updated and removed.
After viewing many blog posts, here is a synposis of the features SharePoint 14 might have:
- SharePoint Web Parts for FAST ESP but better integration and bigger
- The server software will be announced as 64 bit only
- Silverlight Media web parts
- Better accessibility and cleaner code generation……

Thank you for imposing guilt on me today! I mainly use my blog to capture information for my own reference, and many times if it is a short article I just highlight it and click my Blog it button. However, I did ask myself how this would make me feel, and since this was strictly his content, I removed a little of the article to encourage click throughs.
